Final Space

On the data. This is the clearest case on the site of a show that was not just cancelled but taken away. HBO Max removed it in July 2022 as part of a purge of Adult Swim animation, and it left Netflix internationally at the end of 2023 when the licence lapsed. As of now it is on no subscription service anywhere and has to be bought episode by episode. Seasons 1 and 2 got disc releases and are hard to find; season 3 never got one at all. The ending is the other half of that story. Olan Rogers licensed the rights back from Warner Bros. Discovery to finish it, on terms that forbade animation, voice acting, a crowdfunding campaign and any digital release. So the conclusion of a television series exists only as a hardcover graphic novel, sold first as a signed limited edition direct from his own site and later through bookshops. It is listed here as a book because that is what it is. Its date is not clean. The direct edition appears to have shipped in late 2025 and the wide bookshop edition is dated 30 June 2026. The later date is used here. A cheaper Battle Worn printing is sold alongside it and appears to be the same book with imperfect covers rather than a separate volume, though that could not be confirmed. Two precursors are often confused. The 2016 pilot is seven minutes and led directly to the series. Gary Space, from 2010, is an earlier and entirely separate web series by the same creator that got three episodes out of a planned ten before it was reworked into Final Space. Gary Space is not listed here, because it is a different show that happens to share a character's name. One more thing worth knowing: Into Final Space is a fan podcast, not an official continuation, and it does not contain the ending.
