Twelve episodes, and an unusual piece of advice: you can start at either end. The 2015 run reintroduces everything, so it does not need the shorts, and the shorts are the better artefact if you want to see where it came from.

November 2013 to March 2014, eleven to fifteen minutes each, on Fox's late night animation block. A demon godlord is exiled to small town Minnesota and adopted by a teenage girl who thinks he is an excellent idea.
Summer 2015, half hours, new voice cast, and a first episode called Pilot that reintroduces the premise for an audience assumed not to have seen the shorts. Two Sundays were skipped mid run, which is a schedule gap and not missing episodes.
Then what? Fox did not renew it, and the cancellation was reported in 2016. This is the hardest title on the site to watch legally: there is currently no US stream, no rental, no purchase and no disc release we could verify.
