Iron Man

A 1994 cartoon so badly made its second season was rebuilt from scratch, and seven other versions.

Where to start with Iron Man

Nothing here continues anything else, with one exception: the two Heroes United films are a pair. Otherwise these are eight separate attempts at the same man. Best first.

  1. 1
    Iron Man (2008) Iron Man

The film, and the obvious starting point even on a page that is mostly animation. The MCU page covers everything that follows it.

  2. 2
Iron Man (1994), second season Iron Man

Start at season two, not season one. They are effectively different programmes: the second was rebuilt with a new studio, new designs and new voices, and is the version worth watching.

  3. 3
Iron Man: Armored Adventures (2009) Iron Man: Armored Adventures

Fifty-two episodes with a real arc. The teenage premise sounds worse than it plays.

  4. 4
The Invincible Iron Man (2007) The Invincible Iron Man

If you want one film from the animated side. It tells the origin its own way, a year before the live-action version did.

Then what? The Madhouse anime is set in Japan and is its own thing entirely. The two Heroes United films are a pair and are the weakest items here. Iron Man and His Awesome Friends is made for preschoolers and is not trying to be anything else.

A suggested way in, not an official one. The full list is below: tick anything off in either place.

Everything you tick is saved in this browser and nowhere else. An account is the only way to put your list on another device, and the only way to get it back if this browser clears its storage. It is free and it takes an email address and a password.

Sign in on your phone, your laptop, anything, and the same list is there, kept in step as you tick. Nothing to copy, nothing to remember.

All three are about this franchise and all three are for showing, not moving. The link and the picture open SagaList with that progress displayed next to whatever the person opening it has already ticked. The code is what a friend pastes into Compare below. None of them writes anything into anybody's list.

Read only. This never changes what you have saved, and nothing leaves your browser. The code has to be their code for this same franchise: codes do not carry a name, so one from somewhere else may not be recognised as wrong.

Removes everything ticked here, in this browser. If you are signed in it clears on your other devices too. If you are not, there is no other copy and this cannot be undone.
