Where to start with Naked and Afraid

There is no order to get right. Every episode is a self contained survival attempt with a new cast, so nothing here spoils anything else and no series depends on another. What actually changes between them is the format, so the useful question is which format you want rather than where in the run to begin. These four are the four ideas the franchise has had.

  1. 1
Naked and Afraid, season 1 Naked and Afraid

Six episodes, and the format at its plainest: two strangers, twenty one days, and nothing else. If the premise does not hold you here it will not hold you eighteen seasons later.

  2. 2
Naked and Afraid XL, season 1 Naked and Afraid XL

The same idea with twelve people and forty days. The group does most of the work, and it is the closest the franchise comes to telling one continuous story across a season.

  3. 3
Last One Standing, season 1 Naked and Afraid: Last One Standing

Where it turns competitive. Veterans you will already recognise from the flagship, eliminated one at a time for money, which changes how everybody behaves.

  4. 4
Global Showdown Naked and Afraid: Global Showdown

The newest and largest version of the competition idea, and the better opening if you would rather start with something current than with 2013.

Sync & backup

Your progress is saved on this device automatically. The code below takes a copy out and puts it back. Moving a whole list onto a device that has nothing on it yet is part of the subscription.

The code holds only this franchise. The link opens the tracker with your progress already filled in, good for showing someone where you're at. The image is a picture you can keep anywhere: scan the code on it with a phone, or drag the file back in below.

Every franchise you have touched, in one code.

Scan it with another device's camera, or paste the code in below. It never leaves your browser.

Drag a SagaList image here, or .

This reads the progress stored inside the picture, so nothing has to be retyped. If the image has been through a messaging app it may have been re-encoded and lost that: scan the code on it instead, or copy the code printed along the bottom.

Takes either kind of code. A single franchise code replaces that franchise, on any device. An everything code merges by default, so nothing you have ticked on this device is lost. Putting a whole list onto a device that has nothing on it yet is the part an account pays for.

Read only. This never changes what you have saved, and nothing leaves your browser. The code has to be their code for this same franchise: codes do not carry a name, so one from somewhere else may not be recognised as wrong.
