Three seasons, in order, and one film that you should almost certainly not watch because it is made of episodes you will already have seen. There is no dialogue to speak of in any of it.

A caveman and a dinosaur, no dialogue, nothing explained. Five episodes came out on five consecutive nights in 2019 and the other five arrived across 2020, which is why season 1 looks like it spans two years.
Season 2 ends the story it set out to tell and kills off a lead. Season 3, six years later, brings him back in a different state, so it is a continuation rather than an anthology.
Then what? No fourth season is ordered. The creator has said the story of these two characters is finished and that he would like Primal to continue as an anthology with new characters, but that is a stated wish rather than an order.
