Three series set in 1997, 1994 and 1988, sharing a format and two actors playing different parents each time. An anthology, so any order works, with one reason to prefer release order.
These are three separate stories with three separate casts, so there is no wrong order and nothing is spoiled. Two orders are worth knowing about. Release order is the only one in which the cameos land, because each series contains a small appearance by the one before it. Starting with Reply 1988 is the popular alternative, because it is the one almost everybody names as the best, and the cost is that two scenes lose their point. Do not watch them in order of the years in the titles: 1988 last is release order, and 1988 first is the quality argument, but 1988, 1994, 1997 is neither.
