Fifty episodes and one film, and the only thing to get right is that the film is a real story rather than a recap. There is no recap anywhere in this franchise, which is unusual.
Straight through, and then the film. The episodes are largely self contained comedy with a slow plot underneath, so it survives being dipped into better than most, but the film assumes you know all three characters. The one genuinely useful thing to know is that there is no recap film here, so nothing you watch will be a repeat of something you have already seen.
