Six dance films and a three season series, with one reunion film that gives away the two before it and one sequel that connects to nothing at all.
Release order works, with one rule that matters more than the rest: do not start with All In. It is a reunion film built on the second, third and fourth, and watching it first gives away all three while making sense of none of them. Year of the Dance is the opposite problem: it connects to nothing, so it can be watched at any point or skipped entirely without missing anything. The series is its own story and does not need the films.
