Two episodes on 1 August 2013 and then weekly to late September. The two part opener is one story, so do not treat the first as a standalone pilot.
Same shape both times: two episodes to open, then weekly. Season 2 ran in August and September 2014 and season 3 in September to November 2015, ending on The Final Showdown, which turned out to be exactly that.
Entirely optional, and only worth it if you liked the theme tune enough to want three more minutes of it.
Then what? Hulu cancelled the show in December 2015. Coverage at the time said it might be shopped elsewhere. Nobody picked it up, and all thirty episodes are still on Hulu.
