After

Five films, not four, and only the first four come from novels.

Where to start with After

Five films in release order. There is no branching, no recasting and no reboot, which makes this one of the simplest orders on the site. The only thing to know is that the fifth film is not in any book.

  1. 1
    After (2019) After

Tessa Young starts university and meets Hardin Scott. Nothing precedes it.

  2. 2
After We Collided (2020) After We Collided

Follows directly on. A different director, the same two leads.

  3. 3
After We Fell (2021) After We Fell

Castille Landon takes over and stays for the rest. Shot back to back with the next film.

  4. 4
After Ever Happy (2022) After Ever Happy

Adapts the fourth novel and closes the book arc.

  5. 5
    After Everything (2023) After Everything

An original story written for the screen. It is a coda rather than an adaptation, and it needs the four films before it.

Then what? That is all five. A prequel novel called Before exists but has never been filmed, and a next-generation sequel has been discussed for years without being greenlit.

A suggested way in, not an official one. The full list is below: tick anything off in either place.

Everything you tick is saved in this browser and nowhere else. An account is the only way to put your list on another device, and the only way to get it back if this browser clears its storage. It is free and it takes an email address and a password.

Sign in on your phone, your laptop, anything, and the same list is there, kept in step as you tick. Nothing to copy, nothing to remember.

All three are about this franchise and all three are for showing, not moving. The link and the picture open SagaList with that progress displayed next to whatever the person opening it has already ticked. The code is what a friend pastes into Compare below. None of them writes anything into anybody's list.

Read only. This never changes what you have saved, and nothing leaves your browser. The code has to be their code for this same franchise: codes do not carry a name, so one from somewhere else may not be recognised as wrong.

Removes everything ticked here, in this browser. If you are signed in it clears on your other devices too. If you are not, there is no other copy and this cannot be undone.
