The three Fox seasons in order, and then a real decision about season four. It was released in 2013 as fifteen episodes, each following one character through roughly the same stretch of time, so the same events keep recurring from new angles. Five years later Mitch Hurwitz re-cut exactly the same footage into twenty-two episodes in chronological order and called it Fateful Consequences. Neither is the definitive version. The original is the experiment; the recut is the easier watch. Pick one, not both.
