A family driving through America takes a detour and cannot leave the town they end up in, and neither can anybody else who got there the same way. The residents try to stay alive against something that comes out of the surrounding forest after dark while looking for a way out.

Ten episodes from 20 February to 10 April 2022, on Epix. Jack Bender directed the first four. This is where the town and its rules are introduced, so it is the only possible starting point.
Ten episodes from 23 April to 25 June 2023. Epix had become MGM+ by now, which is the only thing that changed between the two seasons.
Ten episodes from 22 September to 24 November 2024.
Ten episodes from 19 April to 28 June 2026, after the longest gap the series has had.
Then what? A fifth season has been ordered and MGM+ has said it is the last. Filming was set to begin on 6 July 2026 in Nova Scotia and it is expected in 2027. No date and no episode count have been published, so the season row here is empty rather than guessed at.
