Worth knowing: browsers do clear their own storage. Safari in particular wipes a site's data after about a week of not visiting, and private windows forget everything when you close them. If you've put real effort into a list, export it.

Can't find one?
367 episodes released under seven different titles, which streaming services list as seven separate shows in no particular order.
There is only one order, and the trouble is that nobody writes it down where you can find it. Seven titles, 367 episodes, one continuous story, and the episode numbers run straight through all of it. Follow the numbers and ignore the names.
The original run. It opens as a joke-a-minute parody and spends about fifty episodes convincing you it is nothing else, which is the point most people quit at and the reason everyone else says keep going.
Picks up straight from 201 after a year off the air. The apostrophe is a broadcast branding change, not a reboot, and nothing about the story restarts.
Thirteen episodes that run directly on from 252 under yet another title. This is the block services most often file out of sequence or leave off the shelf entirely.
After a three year gap. This is where the long serious arcs take over from the comedy, and where most people who stayed say the show becomes the thing they recommend.
Twelve episodes carrying one arc. Short, and easy to miss because the title is the previous one with a different piece of punctuation on the end.
A block of lighter episodes deliberately placed between two heavy arcs. Skipping it is survivable, but it is where several running jokes get paid off.
The Silver Soul arc, twenty-six episodes, and the end of the television series. It stops before the manga's ending, which is what the last film exists to finish.
Two episodes that cover the gap between episode 367 and the film. They came out a week after the film, which is why almost everyone watches them in the wrong order.
The actual ending, adapting the last of the manga. Without it the series simply stops mid story, so this is the one film that is not optional.
Then what? That is the whole story. Gintama: The Movie retells episodes 58 to 61 and can be skipped outright; Be Forever Yorozuya is an anime-original side story that fits after episode 265; the 2026 Yoshiwara in Flames film re-animates an arc you have already watched; Ginpachi-sensei is the cast in a school and is connected to nothing.

Your data
There are no accounts on SagaList and no database of visitors. Almost everything the site does happens inside your own browser and never reaches anyone. Here is the whole picture, including the one thing that does leave your device.
Everything you tick off. Your progress is saved in your browser's own storage, on the device you're using, under a key belonging to this site. It is not sent anywhere, it is not backed up by us, and we cannot see it. If you clear your browser's site data it is gone, and we could not restore it even if you asked — which is exactly why Export image of progress and Sync & backup exist.
The same is true of a share link. The progress is encoded into the address itself, so it travels with the link rather than being stored on a server. Anyone you send it to can see what you've watched — that's the point of it — so only share it with people you mean to.
Only a suggestion, and only when you send one. If you use Suggest a title, what you typed is submitted to Netlify, who host this site, and forwarded on to whoever maintains the list. That form asks for a title and an optional note. It does not ask for your name or your email address, and there is nowhere to enter one. Netlify records the submission along with the technical details any web host sees when you send a request, and their privacy terms govern that.
If you never send a suggestion, nothing you do on this site is transmitted anywhere at all.
We do count visits, and it would be dishonest to have a privacy page that did not say so. It is done by Netlify reading its own server logs — the record every web host keeps of which pages were requested. Nothing is added to this page to make it happen: no script runs, no cookie is set, and nothing follows you from one visit to the next or from this site to any other.
What that produces is a count: how many pages were served, which ones, and roughly where in the world the requests came from. Visitors are counted as distinct network addresses per day, which is how a request gets counted once rather than five times. It is a tally of traffic, not a record of people — there is no profile, no history, and no way to look up what any one visitor did.
Two typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google to fetch them, and Google sees that request the way any web server sees a request for a file. Nothing about your progress is included. Apart from that, the entire site is a single file served from this address.
The Join our Discord link at the foot of every page goes to Discord, which is a separate service run by a separate company. It is an ordinary link: nothing about what you've watched travels with it, and following it tells Discord only that somebody opened an invite. Anything you do once you are there — including needing a Discord account to say anything at all — is covered by Discord's own terms and privacy policy rather than this page. Nothing on SagaList itself ever asks you to make an account, and the server is entirely optional.
The Support the site link at the foot of every page goes to Ko-fi, a separate service run by a separate company, where anyone who wants to can send a few dollars towards the domain and hosting. It is an ordinary link and it is entirely optional: nothing on SagaList is paywalled, nothing is unlocked by paying, and nothing about what you've watched travels with the link. If you do send something, Ko-fi and its payment processor handle the payment and see whatever you type into their form — SagaList never sees or stores a card, an address, or a name, and keeps no record of who supported it. That side of things is covered by Ko-fi's own terms and privacy policy rather than this page.
If visitor analytics or an optional account for syncing across devices are ever added, this page gets updated first and the change will be obvious rather than quiet. The promise on the front page — nothing stored about you — is meant literally, and it stops being printable the day it stops being true.
SagaList keeps no contact list, so there is no address to write to about your data. There is nothing held about you to ask for.
