Where to start with Last Chance U

Season one, and then keep going, but know that this is an anthology rather than a continuing story. Each pair of seasons follows a different junior college football programme, so the people change twice across the five seasons. The format stays exactly the same. If a school's run loses you, the next one starts clean.

  1. 1
    Seasons 1 and 2, East Mississippi (2016 and 2017) Last Chance U

Fourteen episodes at the school the series was built around, and the ones people mean when they recommend it.

  2. 2
    Seasons 3 and 4, Independence (2018 and 2019) Last Chance U

Sixteen episodes at a school in Kansas with a coach who is the series' most argued-about figure.

  3. 3
Season 5, Laney College (2020) Last Chance U

Eight episodes in Oakland, and the last of the football seasons.

  4. 4
Last Chance U: Basketball (2021) Last Chance U: Basketball

A separate series at East Los Angeles College, sixteen episodes across two seasons. Same crew, same approach, different sport, and it needs none of the football.

Then what? There is no sixth football season. Greg Whiteley went on to make Cheer, which is the same idea applied to competitive cheerleading and is on this site too.

A suggested way in, not an official one. The full list is below: tick anything off in either place.

Everything you tick is saved in this browser and nowhere else. An account is the only way to put your list on another device, and the only way to get it back if this browser clears its storage. It is free and it takes an email address and a password.

Sign in on your phone, your laptop, anything, and the same list is there, kept in step as you tick. Nothing to copy, nothing to remember.

All three are about this franchise and all three are for showing, not moving. The link and the picture open SagaList with that progress displayed next to whatever the person opening it has already ticked. The code is what a friend pastes into Compare below. None of them writes anything into anybody's list.

Read only. This never changes what you have saved, and nothing leaves your browser. The code has to be their code for this same franchise: codes do not carry a name, so one from somewhere else may not be recognised as wrong.

Removes everything ticked here, in this browser. If you are signed in it clears on your other devices too. If you are not, there is no other copy and this cannot be undone.
