Where to start with Marvel's Odd Ones Out

Five films that connect to nothing, belong to no franchise, and would each be alone on a page of their own. They are here together so they can be found. Only two are worth recommending, and one of those is for the reasons it fails.

  1. 1
Howard the Duck (1986) Howard the Duck

The famous one, and it deserves its reputation less than you have been told. George Lucas produced it, it cost more than Return of the Jedi had, and the fallout from it is why he sold the computer division that became Pixar.

  2. 2
Nick Fury: Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. (1998) Nick Fury: Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.

David Hasselhoff as Nick Fury, written by the man who wrote Blade two months later. It is better than it sounds and it is on television, so it costs you ninety minutes.

Then what? Power Pack is twenty-seven minutes and exists because Fox needed to fill a Saturday morning slot with a pilot NBC had rejected. Man-Thing was made for cinemas and sent to cable. Dracula: Sovereign of the Damned is a Toei animated film of Marvel's Tomb of Dracula comic, and TMDB files it under that title instead.

A suggested way in, not an official one. The full list is below: tick anything off in either place.

Everything you tick is saved in this browser and nowhere else. An account is the only way to put your list on another device, and the only way to get it back if this browser clears its storage. It is free and it takes an email address and a password.

Sign in on your phone, your laptop, anything, and the same list is there, kept in step as you tick. Nothing to copy, nothing to remember.

All three are about this franchise and all three are for showing, not moving. The link and the picture open SagaList with that progress displayed next to whatever the person opening it has already ticked. The code is what a friend pastes into Compare below. None of them writes anything into anybody's list.

Read only. This never changes what you have saved, and nothing leaves your browser. The code has to be their code for this same franchise: codes do not carry a name, so one from somewhere else may not be recognised as wrong.

Removes everything ticked here, in this browser. If you are signed in it clears on your other devices too. If you are not, there is no other copy and this cannot be undone.
