On the data. TWO FILMS AND NOTHING ELSE WAS EVER FINISHED. No third film, no television series, no special, no short, no direct-to-video entry. The Numbers' franchise page lists two titles and so does Box Office Mojo. That is the whole franchise. THERE IS NO THIRD FILM AND IT IS NOT IN DEVELOPMENT, which is a stronger statement than the usual one. There is no studio project, no script, no writer, no director and no date. A search across Deadline, Variety and The Hollywood Reporter turns up nothing at any point, there is no title page on IMDb, TMDB or The Numbers, and Warner Bros.' 2026 slate does not mention it. Sandra Bullock has ruled it out directly, saying "God, no" in 2022 and holding that position since. What does exist is Heather Burns telling People at the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival that she would jump at a third film, covered by Variety, Deadline and Parade in June 2025. That is an actor's enthusiasm, not a project, and it is the only thing anybody is pointing at. Bullock has also mused about a prequel with a young Gracie. A musing in an interview is not a film either. A CHINESE REMAKE WAS ANNOUNCED IN 2016 AND NEVER MADE. Flagship Entertainment, Warner Bros.' Chinese joint venture, put a Chinese-language Miss Congeniality on its first slate in March 2016, reported by Deadline, Screen Daily and The Hollywood Reporter. Flagship has released seven films since and this is not among them. No cast, no director, no date, no footage. Announced and abandoned. THE TELEVISION SERIES WAS A TABLOID ITEM, NOT A DEVELOPMENT DEAL. In March 2014 it was reported that Sandra Bullock was planning to produce a Miss Congeniality show with the lead recast, described by an anonymous source as Bridesmaids meets 24. The original source was RadarOnline. It was never picked up by Variety, Deadline or The Hollywood Reporter, no network or studio was ever attached, no pilot was ordered and there is no database entry for it anywhere. It is on this page as a paragraph because people half remember it, and it is not a row because nothing was ever made. ONE RUNTIME IS ARGUED OVER AND IT CHANGES NOTHING. The first film is 109 minutes by Box Office Mojo, The Numbers and the AFI Catalog, 110 by Wikipedia and Letterboxd, and 111 by TMDB. The second is 115 by all four sources that give one. NO CROSSOVERS. Nothing in either film continues a story from anywhere else and nothing elsewhere finishes a story started here. The cameos in the sequel, Dolly Parton and Regis Philbin among them, are people playing themselves, which is the opposite of a crossover. A STAGE SHOW USING THIS NAME IS NOT OFFICIAL. A Ms Congeniality musical turns up on an Irish charity venue's events page. It is an amateur or charity production, not a licensed adaptation, and it is not listed here.
