Released together in April 2020. Each episode is one real interview from The Duncan Trussell Family Hour, roughly in podcast order, with the guest redrawn as somebody in the story. Episode 1 is the Dr. Drew conversation. Episode 8 is the one everybody remembers: Trussell talking with his mother, Deneen Fendig, recorded partly a few weeks before she died.
Then what? Cancelled after one season. There was no Netflix announcement; Trussell said so himself on social media in June 2022 and later explained at a convention that animation is expensive and he had no hard feelings about it.
