Where to start with Trancers

Straight through in order, with one insertion. The short film that came out in 2013 belongs second, between the first two features.

  1. 1
    Trancers (1984) Trancers

Jack Deth arrives in 1985 in his ancestor's body. It sets the whole premise, and it is the only entry with a proper budget behind it.

  2. 2
Trancers: City of Lost Angels (2013) Trancers: City of Lost Angels

Twenty minutes, set right after the first film. It was shot in 1987 and lost for twenty five years, so it only became watchable in 2013. Skipping it costs nothing, but this is where it goes.

  3. 3
    Trancers II (1991) Trancers II

Six years later in story. Whistler's brother, and the point where the series settles into the shape it keeps for the rest of its run.

Then what? Trancers III from 1992 sets aside most of the second film on purpose. Trancers 4 and 5, both 1994, were shot back to back in Romania and the fifth carries straight on from the fourth, so treat them as one. Trancers 6 from 2002 is the last one, and Tim Thomerson is barely in it: Jack occupies his daughter's body, and the film uses recycled footage and a double for the rest.

A suggested way in, not an official one. The full list is below: tick anything off in either place.

Everything you tick is saved in this browser and nowhere else. An account is the only way to put your list on another device, and the only way to get it back if this browser clears its storage. It is free and it takes an email address and a password.

Sign in on your phone, your laptop, anything, and the same list is there, kept in step as you tick. Nothing to copy, nothing to remember.

All three are about this franchise and all three are for showing, not moving. The link and the picture open SagaList with that progress displayed next to whatever the person opening it has already ticked. The code is what a friend pastes into Compare below. None of them writes anything into anybody's list.

Read only. This never changes what you have saved, and nothing leaves your browser. The code has to be their code for this same franchise: codes do not carry a name, so one from somewhere else may not be recognised as wrong.

Removes everything ticked here, in this browser. If you are signed in it clears on your other devices too. If you are not, there is no other copy and this cannot be undone.
