Four films, the three boys recast twice, and the third one was actually shot second and then shelved.

Where to start with 3 Ninjas

Release order works, but the boys look younger in the third film than the second, because it was shot first. If that will bother you, watch Knuckle Up second instead.

  1. 1
    3 Ninjas (1992) 3 Ninjas

The original trio, and the only one Disney released. It sets up the grandfather and the summer training that the rest all lean on.

  2. 2
3 Ninjas Knuckle Up (1995) 3 Ninjas Knuckle Up

Watch it here rather than third. It was filmed right after the first with the same three boys and then sat on a shelf for two years, so this is where the actors' ages actually line up.

  3. 3
3 Ninjas Kick Back (1994) 3 Ninjas Kick Back

Released second but set third, with two of the three boys recast. It also quietly changes the grandfather's surname, which nothing ever explains.

Then what? High Noon at Mega Mountain from 1998 is last either way. It recasts all three boys a second time and brings in Hulk Hogan, and it is the only one that does not really try to be a martial arts film. Victor Wong plays the grandfather in every single entry and is the one thing that never changes.

A suggested way in, not an official one. The full list is below: tick anything off in either place.

Everything you tick is saved in this browser and nowhere else. An account is the only way to put your list on another device, and the only way to get it back if this browser clears its storage. It is free and it takes an email address and a password.

Sign in on your phone, your laptop, anything, and the same list is there, kept in step as you tick. Nothing to copy, nothing to remember.

All three are about this franchise and all three are for showing, not moving. The link and the picture open SagaList with that progress displayed next to whatever the person opening it has already ticked. The code is what a friend pastes into Compare below. None of them writes anything into anybody's list.

Read only. This never changes what you have saved, and nothing leaves your browser. The code has to be their code for this same franchise: codes do not carry a name, so one from somewhere else may not be recognised as wrong.

Removes everything ticked here, in this browser. If you are signed in it clears on your other devices too. If you are not, there is no other copy and this cannot be undone.
