Twenty-five episodes and the premise is fully established by the end of them. No filler anywhere in this series, so there is nothing to skip.
Twelve episodes, four years after the first season aired and immediately after it in story terms. The shortest season and the one that changes what the show is about.
Twenty-two episodes broadcast as two halves a year apart, which is why some listings call them seasons 3 and 4. It is one season and it ends at episode 59.
A new studio, a time jump and a different set of characters for several episodes. This is the point people stop and check they have the right show; they do.
Then what? Part 2 is episodes 76 to 87. For the ending you have a genuine choice: episodes 88 to 94 on streaming, or Attack on Titan: The Last Attack, which is the same material as one film with better sound and a short new post-credits scene. The four recap films cover ground you will already have covered and are for refreshing, not for watching. The OADs are optional, and No Regrets is the one worth the hour.
