On the data. The order of the two series is the only real trap. Back in Business, which came out first, is set during the events of the first film rather than after it. Back in the Crib, which came second, is set after the second film. So on a streaming service that lists everything by release date you would watch a prequel-ish series, then a film that jumps decades ahead, then a series that jumps back. Films first, series afterwards if you want them, is much less confusing. The voices change. Alec Baldwin plays the part in the films; the series use different actors. That surprises people who go straight from one to the other. The source is a thirty two page picture book by Marla Frazee with a single joke in it and no story. Everything in the films and series was made up around it. One small thing about the first film: whether any of it is really happening is left open, and the second film quietly decides that it was. Some people find that a cheat.
