Five seasons, a skippable cinema film, and a finale that arrived thirteen years late.

Where to start with Hey Arnold!

Watch the series in order and finish with the 2017 film. That is the whole job. The 2002 cinema film is a side story you can skip entirely, and the shorts are curiosities.

  1. 1
Hey Arnold! seasons 1 to 5 (1996 to 2004) Hey Arnold!

In order. Mostly standalone episodes, so you can dip in, but the Pataki material and the parents thread both build across the run.

  2. 2
The Journal (season 5) The Journal

Called out separately because it is the one episode the 2017 film assumes you have seen. Do not skip it.

  3. 3
Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie (2017) Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie

The real finale. It answers the question the series spent five seasons asking and then abandoned for thirteen years.

Then what? The 2002 cinema film can go anywhere, or nowhere. It was released during season five and has nothing to do with the ending. Nothing further is in production: talk of a revival in August 2026 was denied by Craig Bartlett himself.

A suggested way in, not an official one. The full list is below: tick anything off in either place.

Everything you tick is saved in this browser and nowhere else. An account is the only way to put your list on another device, and the only way to get it back if this browser clears its storage. It is free and it takes an email address and a password.

Sign in on your phone, your laptop, anything, and the same list is there, kept in step as you tick. Nothing to copy, nothing to remember.

All three are about this franchise and all three are for showing, not moving. The link and the picture open SagaList with that progress displayed next to whatever the person opening it has already ticked. The code is what a friend pastes into Compare below. None of them writes anything into anybody's list.

Read only. This never changes what you have saved, and nothing leaves your browser. The code has to be their code for this same franchise: codes do not carry a name, so one from somewhere else may not be recognised as wrong.

Removes everything ticked here, in this browser. If you are signed in it clears on your other devices too. If you are not, there is no other copy and this cannot be undone.
