Rugrats

Two of the three films belong inside the series, not after it.

Where to start with Rugrats

The original series is episodic and you can watch it in almost any order. The exception is the films, and it is not a small exception: two of the three introduce characters who are simply present afterwards, so watching them out of place means people appear with no explanation.

  1. 1
Rugrats, seasons one to four (1991 to 1997) Rugrats

Start anywhere. Nothing carries forward within them.

  2. 2
The Rugrats Movie (1998) The Rugrats Movie

Here, before the fifth season. It introduces Dil, Tommy's baby brother, and he is in everything afterwards.

  3. 3
Seasons five and six (1998 to 2001) Rugrats

Straight on. Dil is now part of the cast.

  4. 4
Rugrats in Paris (2000) Rugrats in Paris: The Movie

Between the sixth and seventh seasons. Chuckie gets a mother and a stepsister, and Kimi joins the cast for good.

  5. 5
Seasons seven to nine (2001 to 2004) Rugrats

The rest of the run. The special All Growed Up is inside the seventh season, not outside it.

  6. 6
All Grown Up! (2003 to 2008) All Grown Up!

The cast ten years on. Fifty-five episodes, and it follows the original rather than replacing it.

  7. 7
    Rugrats (2021) Rugrats

A reboot. Start here instead if you want the modern one, and nothing above is needed.

Then what? Rugrats Go Wild is a crossover with The Wild Thornberrys and is optional in both. Pre-School Daze is four episodes about Angelica and Susie and needs nothing.

A suggested way in, not an official one. The full list is below: tick anything off in either place.

Everything you tick is saved in this browser and nowhere else. An account is the only way to put your list on another device, and the only way to get it back if this browser clears its storage. It is free and it takes an email address and a password.

Sign in on your phone, your laptop, anything, and the same list is there, kept in step as you tick. Nothing to copy, nothing to remember.

All three are about this franchise and all three are for showing, not moving. The link and the picture open SagaList with that progress displayed next to whatever the person opening it has already ticked. The code is what a friend pastes into Compare below. None of them writes anything into anybody's list.

Read only. This never changes what you have saved, and nothing leaves your browser. The code has to be their code for this same franchise: codes do not carry a name, so one from somewhere else may not be recognised as wrong.

Removes everything ticked here, in this browser. If you are signed in it clears on your other devices too. If you are not, there is no other copy and this cannot be undone.
