A soft restart twenty-two years later, set on the same island with a working park. It refers back to the first film constantly and assumes nothing from the two sequels in between.
Another restart with a new cast, five years after the last one, and made so that it can be somebody's first Jurassic film. Three films in and you are current.
Then what? After that, the two nineties sequels and the two Jurassic World sequels fill in the gaps in whichever order you like. Camp Cretaceous and Chaos Theory are the animated series, they run to more than eighty episodes between them, and they are set alongside the Jurassic World films rather than after them, worth it if you want the whole thing, and easy to leave alone if you do not.
