The series was broadcast badly out of chronological order, and the middle of it cannot be put back into one.
Start with Bakemonogatari and watch all 15 episodes, including the three that were released online rather than broadcast. Do not start with the Kizumonogatari films even though they are the prequel, because they were made to be watched by people who already know these characters.

The entry point. Episodes 13 to 15, the Tsubasa Cat arc, went out on the official website between November 2009 and June 2010 and are frequently missing from casual episode lists, so check you have them.
The prequel, covering how Araragi became a vampire. Watch it second, not first: it opens on a relationship that Bakemonogatari has to establish before the films can pay it off.

Then what? Continue in the listed order through Nekomonogatari (Black), Second Season, Hanamonogatari, Tsukimonogatari, Owarimonogatari, Koyomimonogatari, Owarimonogatari Second Season and Zoku Owarimonogatari, then Off & Monster Season. One warning worth carrying: Hanamonogatari is set after everything else in the main run and quietly confirms how the school year ends, so if you want to preserve that, hold it until after Zoku Owarimonogatari.
