Picks up days after the original ends and follows Tariq, so it is the direct continuation rather than a side story. Watching it before finishing Power gives away the one thing you should not know early.
Set in 1991 with a young Kanan, so it is a prequel to everything else. It works far better once you already know the man he becomes: that is most of the point of it.
Then what? Power Book IV: Force follows Tommy to Chicago and runs alongside Ghost rather than after it, so those two can be watched in either order or in step. Two more, Origins and Legacy, have been announced without episode counts or dates and are listed but not counted.
