Where to start with Snowfall

Two ways in, and both are defensible. The long way is Snowfall from the first episode, which is sixty hours and the reason the show has the reputation it has. The short way is to start with The Drop, which is designed as a front door and is only five episodes behind.

  1. 1
    Snowfall, season 1 Snowfall

Ten episodes, 1983, and a nineteen year old deciding to sell something nobody in the neighbourhood has seen yet. Highly serialised from here on, so there is no shortcut through it later.

  2. 2
    Snowfall, season 6 Snowfall

Watch two through five first, obviously. This is here so you know the show has a real ending rather than a cancellation: ten episodes, finished April 2023.

  3. 3
The Drop: A Snowfall Saga The Drop: A Snowfall Saga

1990, and the two characters who got out. Five episodes so far and a new one every Tuesday until the end of October. You can start here if you would rather watch something live, and go back for Snowfall after.

Then what? There is nothing after The Drop and no second season has been announced; it is still airing. If the era is what you came for rather than these characters, the related pages at the foot of this one are the closest neighbours the site has.

A suggested way in, not an official one. The full list is below: tick anything off in either place.

Everything you tick is saved in this browser and nowhere else. An account is the only way to put your list on another device, and the only way to get it back if this browser clears its storage. It is free and it takes an email address and a password.

Sign in on your phone, your laptop, anything, and the same list is there, kept in step as you tick. Nothing to copy, nothing to remember.

All three are about this franchise and all three are for showing, not moving. The link and the picture open SagaList with that progress displayed next to whatever the person opening it has already ticked. The code is what a friend pastes into Compare below. None of them writes anything into anybody's list.

Read only. This never changes what you have saved, and nothing leaves your browser. The code has to be their code for this same franchise: codes do not carry a name, so one from somewhere else may not be recognised as wrong.

Removes everything ticked here, in this browser. If you are signed in it clears on your other devices too. If you are not, there is no other copy and this cannot be undone.
