Sony's Spider-Man Universe

Six films built towards a team up that was cancelled, so the payoff they were all pointing at does not exist.

Where to start with Sony's Spider-Man Universe

Watch the three Venom films in order. The other three are standalones that connect to nothing, including each other.

  1. 1
    Venom (2018) Venom

The one the rest of this exists because of. Tom Hardy and a symbiote, and the only character here who gets a complete story.

  2. 2
Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021) Venom: Let There Be Carnage

Follows straight on, with Woody Harrelson as Carnage. Its mid credits scene is the source of most of the confusion about whether these films join the Marvel ones.

  3. 3
Venom: The Last Dance (2024) Venom: The Last Dance

Finishes the trilogy. It is the only thing in this universe that gets an ending, because everything it was building towards was cancelled.

Then what? Morbius, Madame Web and Kraven the Hunter are standalones. They do not connect to the Venom films, to each other, or to anything that follows. Madame Web is set in 2003, which puts it earliest in story terms, and that is the only chronological fact in the whole list. Spider-Noir is an eight episode series set in an alternate universe inside this one, and it was cancelled after its first season.

A suggested way in, not an official one. The full list is below: tick anything off in either place.

Everything you tick is saved in this browser and nowhere else. An account is the only way to put your list on another device, and the only way to get it back if this browser clears its storage. It is free and it takes an email address and a password.

Sign in on your phone, your laptop, anything, and the same list is there, kept in step as you tick. Nothing to copy, nothing to remember.

All three are about this franchise and all three are for showing, not moving. The link and the picture open SagaList with that progress displayed next to whatever the person opening it has already ticked. The code is what a friend pastes into Compare below. None of them writes anything into anybody's list.

Read only. This never changes what you have saved, and nothing leaves your browser. The code has to be their code for this same franchise: codes do not carry a name, so one from somewhere else may not be recognised as wrong.

Removes everything ticked here, in this browser. If you are signed in it clears on your other devices too. If you are not, there is no other copy and this cannot be undone.
