Mark Frost's two books sit either side of The Return and are for people who want more rather than people who need it: The Secret History of Twin Peaks was published a year before it and The Final Dossier a month after it ended. There will be nothing further. David Lynch died in January 2025, and Mark Frost has said since that a fourth season is hard to imagine without him.
