Critters

Five films and a web series, with a twenty-seven year gap in the middle.

Where to start with Critters

The first two, in order, and then stop unless you are a completist. The run splits cleanly: two films made for cinemas, two shot back to back for video, and then two separate things in 2019 that have nothing to do with each other.

  1. 1
    Critters (1986) Critters

A farm in Kansas and a very small invasion. Dee Wallace is in it, two years after E.T.

  2. 2
Critters 2: The Main Course (1988) Critters 2: The Main Course

The best of them. Same town, two years later, and it knows exactly what it is.

Then what? Critters 3 (1991) and Critters 4 (1992) were shot back to back and went straight to video; the third is notable mostly for Leonardo DiCaprio's first film role. Then nothing for twenty-seven years, until 2019 brought both Critters Attack! and a separate eight-part web series, neither of which refers to the other.

A suggested way in, not an official one. The full list is below: tick anything off in either place.

Everything you tick is saved in this browser and nowhere else. An account is the only way to put your list on another device, and the only way to get it back if this browser clears its storage. It is free and it takes an email address and a password.

Sign in on your phone, your laptop, anything, and the same list is there, kept in step as you tick. Nothing to copy, nothing to remember.

All three are about this franchise and all three are for showing, not moving. The link and the picture open SagaList with that progress displayed next to whatever the person opening it has already ticked. The code is what a friend pastes into Compare below. None of them writes anything into anybody's list.

Read only. This never changes what you have saved, and nothing leaves your browser. The code has to be their code for this same franchise: codes do not carry a name, so one from somewhere else may not be recognised as wrong.

Removes everything ticked here, in this browser. If you are signed in it clears on your other devices too. If you are not, there is no other copy and this cannot be undone.
