You can start at Kurulus: Osman, and you will have a worse time. It is built to work cold, with Ertugrul off screen in Konya at the outset and the tribe re-established from scratch, but three major characters walk in carrying five seasons of history played by the same actors, and the show spends no time introducing them.

Twenty six episodes, which at Turkish broadcast lengths is already about 56 hours. This is the real test rather than the whole 150: the pacing is deliberate and repetitive by Western standards, and people either acclimatise in season one or never will.
The direct sequel, following Ertugrul's youngest son founding the Ottoman state. Bamsi Beyrek, Selcan Hatun and Abdur-Rahman Alp all cross over played by the same actors, and Ertugrul himself appears in the second season, recast, in an arc written as a payoff to the 150 episodes before it.
Twenty six episodes following Osman's son. It picks up directly from the end of Kurulus: Osman's sixth season and stands on nothing without it, so it is the one place you genuinely cannot start.
Then what? Before you start, decide which version you are watching, because the numbering will not survive the switch. If you watch the roughly 45 minute international cut of Ertugrul you will see episode numbers running to about 448 that map to nothing anyone else uses, and then Kurulus: Osman jumps you to unbroken two hour episodes numbered 1 to 194 with no seasons in the numbering at all. That discontinuity is the most confusing thing about this watch order.
