One modern series, two prequels set a century and more earlier, and two continuations that pick up where it stopped. Story order runs 1883, then 1923, then Yellowstone, but the prequels were made for people who already knew this family, and they are much better in that order.

The one everything else exists because of, and it needs none of the others. Nine episodes, and you will know by the third whether the tone is for you.
Ten episodes and a complete story with an ending, following the family's journey west. It works alone but it is written as an origin, so its final episode lands very differently once you know what the ranch becomes.
Set forty years after 1883 and two generations before Yellowstone, and it assumes you have seen both. The most conventionally well-made of the three, and the one to watch third rather than first.
Then what? After that: Yellowstone runs five series, Marshals follows Kayce Dutton afterwards, and Dutton Ranch takes Beth and Rip to Texas. Both continuations start where the main series left off, so they come last regardless of which order you took the prequels in.
