Release order for a first watch, because the fifth film has a twist that only lands once and putting it first turns that twist into something you already knew. Chronological order is real, but it is a rewatch.

Flight 180, and the film that invents the whole idea: a premonition, a group who get off, and then the deaths catching up in order. Nothing before it.
The motorway pile-up, set a year later, and the only sequel that brings a survivor of the first film back. It also fills in the rules the first film only hints at.
The bridge collapse, and the one with the ending. Watching it fifth rather than first is the difference between a reveal and a footnote, so do not let anyone tell you to reorder before this point.
Then what? Fill in the third film and The Final Destination between the second and fifth, in order, then finish with Bloodlines. On a second pass the chronological order is 5, 1, 2, 3, The Final Destination, Bloodlines, though Bloodlines cannot really be placed: its opening sequence is the earliest thing in the whole series and its main story is the latest.
