Release order, all seven, and that really is all there is to it. The only thing worth saying up front is that the 2022 film is called Scream and is not a remake, which trips up almost everyone who finds it on a streaming menu.

The one that made horror self-aware, and every later film in the series is a joke told at its expense. Nothing before it, and the reveal only works cold.
Made a year later and set a couple of years on, with the survivors at college. It is a direct sequel and assumes you know exactly who lived.
Confusingly also called Scream, and it is the fifth film, not a reboot. It brings the original three back and its plot depends on the 1996 film's killer.
Then what? Watch three and four between them, in order. Then Scream VI and Scream 7. Every film is a direct sequel to the one before it, nobody is rebooted, and the survivors carry through all seven. The MTV television series is a different thing entirely and is not part of this.
