Recess

Sixty-five half hours of fourth grade, a film that takes place after all of them, and two direct to video releases that are old episodes wearing a bow.

Where to start with Recess

Almost nothing here needs an order. The segments are self-contained, and Disney itself did not keep them in broadcast order when it packaged them. The one real decision is where the film goes, and the answer depends on whether you want the story order or the air date order.

  1. 1
All four seasons, in any order you like Recess

Sixty-five half hours of playground politics. The episode list is in Disney's packaging order rather than broadcast order, and several segments aired in the opposite order from the one they are listed in, so there is no order to protect.

  2. 2
Recess: School's Out, after the series Recess: School's Out

It is set after the original run and opens on the last day of school. By air date it belongs earlier, before the last three episodes, which went out nine months later. Story order puts it here.

  3. 3
Recess: Taking the Fifth Grade, last Recess: Taking the Fifth Grade

Three never broadcast segments set in fifth grade, so it is both the newest material and the furthest forward in the story. The other two video releases are on the page as well, and they are old episodes with new linking material, so there is nothing new in them to come back for.

Then what? That is the lot. Lax, a 2006 episode of Lilo & Stitch: The Series with the Recess cast in it, is an episode of that show and is not listed here.

A suggested way in, not an official one. The full list is below: tick anything off in either place.

Everything you tick is saved in this browser and nowhere else. An account is the only way to put your list on another device, and the only way to get it back if this browser clears its storage. It is free and it takes an email address and a password.

Sign in on your phone, your laptop, anything, and the same list is there, kept in step as you tick. Nothing to copy, nothing to remember.

All three are about this franchise and all three are for showing, not moving. The link and the picture open SagaList with that progress displayed next to whatever the person opening it has already ticked. The code is what a friend pastes into Compare below. None of them writes anything into anybody's list.

Read only. This never changes what you have saved, and nothing leaves your browser. The code has to be their code for this same franchise: codes do not carry a name, so one from somewhere else may not be recognised as wrong.

Removes everything ticked here, in this browser. If you are signed in it clears on your other devices too. If you are not, there is no other copy and this cannot be undone.
